Selling Art and Crafts at Art Festivals,
Arts and Craft Shows,
Craft Fairs and Festivals
and Arts and Craft Fairs Online?

Know how to sell art and crafts at craft shows,
crafts to make, show displays, or how to sell art online?

Facebook Page Helps Your Art or Craft
Business Know Who Your Customers Are

Have you ever wondered exactly who your craft show customers are? Who to target in your advertising? How to find out if your target market is male or female, what age they are, or where they are located? Ever wondered who was most likely to walk into your craft show booth?

Your art and craft based Facebook business page can help.

First of all if you don't have a Facebook business page I suggest getting one. Learn how at How to Setup Your Art or Craft Show Booth Facebook Business Page.

How does my Facebook business page help me know who my art fair customers are?

Your Facebook business page allows you to converse with people about your business. It gives you statistics called insights about those conversations and others taking place about your business. When done correctly-meaning most of your conversations are with people who will benefit your business in some way prospects, current clients, partners, affiliates, etc.-you will see some trends in those statistics.

You can see these statistics when you click on the graph at the top of your page.

  • Click Likes to see age and gender of the people who "LIKED" your craft Facebook page, where they are from, how they arrived at your Facebook business page through organic, paid or viral and more.
  • Click Reach to see who your page "REACHED"
  • Talking About This to see who was "Talking About Your Page." Demographic data for People Talking About Your Page are only available when more than 30 people were talking about the page in the past 7 days.

For instance the likes The Extravaganza receives are mostly (78%) from females ages 25 to 55+. I also receive likes from males (13%) ages 25 to 55+. The age groups are broken down further but you get the point.

Looking further at the break down of ages of females who like my page tells me most of my customers (44%) are going to be females between the ages of 45 to 55+. I now know where the focus of my marketing should be. I would totally waste my time and money doing any advertising to males or females under the age of 24 as 0% of my likes are in those categories.

Take a look it's free and gives you a place to examine the demographics of your buyers.

Do you agree?
